A.8. Boot loader has no flow control
Most boot loaders do not support CTS / RTS flow control. This can cause some data loss where large speed mis-matches exist, as is often the case with a modern modem connected into a 9600 bps fixed-speed port.
SYSLINUX 1.66 supports flow control.
