IE5 Dynamic HTML Reference

Wrox's IE5 DHTML Programmer's Reference gives a concise guide and quick-reference to Dynamic HTML usage in the IE5 web browser. This includes coverage of how DHTML relates to existing technologies - HTML 4.0, scripting languages and the CSS2 version of style sheets - which provide the basis for DHTML. The books presents VBScript and JScript examples, and there is ample coverage of techniques for working with text, tables, windows, forms and filters. As in the previous edition, there are also extensive reference sections on Dynamic HTML, VBScript, and JScript. Dynamic HTML enables web developers to create pages with mobile interactive effects - something that they were unable to achieve using standard HTML. Basically, you take HTML and add scripting and you have Dynamic HTML. The technology was introduced by the major browser companies in IE4 and Communicator 4, when Wrox produced separate books on each browser implementation.
