It is a good, solid reference book, listing all the HTML tags, their usage and their support levels for both Internet Explorer & Netscape as well as HTML standards. Instead of wordy narrative examples which do not quite fit the problems that come up in practice this book has abstract definitions of the grammar and lexicon of the language, very much what the programmer needs to solve a problem.
